We are a choir of about 35 singers who come from the Bedwyns and beyond!

The choir was formed in 1999 and is open to all adults who love to sing. We sing unaccompanied and in four part harmony (SATB).

There is no audition and the ability to read music is an advantage but not a requirement. Our repertoire is wide-ranging and covers music sacred and secular, serious and whimsical, from the 16^th century to the present day.

Rehearsals are on Monday evenings 7.30pm-9.00pm at Great Bedwyn School during term.

Our new Season 2010 starts on January 11th and will run until the 29th March but there will be no rehearsal on Monday 15th February.

We would love some new members so if you are interested in joining our choir please just turn up at Great Bedwyn School on a Monday evening at 7.30pm contact Fiona or Caroline (details below).

We sing at the local Christmas and Easter Church Services and at other local events including weddings, funerals and concerts.

We recorded a Christmas CD two years ago which has been available in local shops. The production of this CD has been made possible with a grant from Awards For All and we are most grateful for their support: www.awardsforall.org.uk

Our conductor is Fiona MacArthur who is a very experienced teacher and recitalist originally studying with Margaret Aronson (Currently head of vocal studies at RSAMD) in Edinburgh, Fiona has been studying (and still studies!) voice with the Grammy Award-winning Mezzo-Soprano, and Trinity-Guildhall teacher Ameral Gunson since 1996.
